This course will teach participants the fundamentals of installing, deploying, configuring and maintaining a Linux Web server. They will learn to install a Linux distribution, how to use it (partitions, permissions, shell, pipes, system administration, remote access, etc.), how to install and configure a database (MariaDB), a Web server (Nginx+PHP), and a CMS (WordPress). By the end of this course, participants will have a full-fledged Web server running on their own Raspberry Pi and on the Codinglab.dev server online.
